How to Fix No Signal to External Display on ASUS TUF F15 After Update?

Hey everyone! I'm having a bit of a problem with my ASUS TUF F15 laptop, which unfortunately has a broken internal display. Recently, I updated a driver through the settings, and after a scheduled restart, the laptop unexpectedly shut down. Since that incident, I'm unable to get any signal on my external monitor. When I power on the laptop, I can see keyboard lights and hear the fans, but the internal display is only showing a faint, greenish flash. I really need some help to get my external display working again so I can use my laptop properly. Thanks in advance for any advice!

First, unplug the external display and check if the internal one works at all. If it does, you probably need to reinstall your graphics drivers from the ASUS support site. If that doesn't work, try accessing the BIOS by turning off the laptop, then pressing and holding the F2 key while turning it back on. Keep holding F2 until the BIOS shows. If still no luck, consider doing a CMOS reset by powering off the laptop, unplugging it, and holding the power button for about 30-60 seconds. If that doesn't help, a repair shop might be your next best option for deeper diagnostics.

Unfortunately, it didn't work, I appreciate the tips though! Funny enough, it seems like it might be connecting to my AirPods briefly.

You might want to try booting into safe mode to uninstall the recent driver. That can often fix issues like this. If you need help with entering safe mode, I can guide you through it!

Will try, how would I go about entering safe mode?

It sounds like you're not alone; several people have reported similar issues after updating drivers or Windows. When you turn on your laptop, do you see anything on the external display during startup or BIOS, or is it completely black?

No signal at all unfortunately.
