I've never worked with a salesperson before, but generating leads is becoming quite challenging for me. I'm considering the idea of hiring someone on a commission basis to help bring in new work. Has anyone here had experience with this? What are your thoughts or experiences with commission-only salespeople?

Absolutely consider bringing in a salesperson, but finding the right fit is key! It might be worth posting a job on platforms like Indeed to find someone who aligns well with your needs.

I’ve thought about the same issue. The good salespeople are often aware of their value and may seek better offers elsewhere. It can be a gamble depending on who you hire.

Unless you're already overwhelmed with work and looking to scale, hiring a salesperson might not solve your problems. They can't work miracles if your value proposition isn’t solid. If you're just focusing on web design, remember that success in that area has really diminished lately. If you have a unique service that resonates with clients, a salesperson might do better assisting you. But don't hire one unless it truly helps you save time or boosts your profit.
