I recently got a new computer with an i5-12600H CPU, and I'm trying to enable loudness equalization for my LG C4 TV connected via HDMI. On my old setup, which had a dedicated GPU, I could access this feature easily, but I can't seem to find the audio enhancements tab now. I've checked my drivers and found my TV listed under the audio in/out section. I have options for 'audio endpoint' and 'generic software device,' but using the latter just stopped all audio. In the sound, video, and game controller section, I see two 'HD audio Driver for Display Audio' and one 'USB Audio,' with the first driver appearing to link to my TV. I even attempted to update to the High Definition Audio Device, but ended up losing all sound until I put the original driver back. Is there a way to get the loudness equalization back without resorting to third-party software?

I figured I might need an external program to do something similar, so I'll check into that. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
Unfortunately, it seems like the audio driver associated with your new setup just doesn't support that feature. You might want to explore your TV’s settings to see if it offers something similar. Just remember, the driver you’re dealing with is linked to your GPU, not a sound card, so be cautious when making changes.
This issue mainly stems from your drivers—it’s all about how your HDMI audio is handled via your GPU. Since you’re using integrated graphics now, it’s possible that Intel doesn’t support loudness equalization in its drivers. Check if you can adjust any settings in the Intel Graphics Command Center; it might have options that can help you out.
