How can I make Google enforce 2FA on my computer login?

I've got two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled on my Google account, but when I log in from my computer, it only asks for my password, which feels too easy. I want it to prompt me for the second step every time I log in. I've tried signing out of my computer through the devices list in the security settings, but that hasn't helped at all. I even logged in from a different IP address, but still no 2FA request. Just to clarify, it works when I use private browsing, but I'm looking for a way to make Google stop trusting my regular browser session. Any tips? Thanks!

To really test if 2FA is set up correctly, try logging in from a computer where you’ve never signed in before. If it asks for 2FA there, then it’s working as it should. If not, there might be an issue with Google's settings on your current device. If you don’t have access to another computer, you could run a live Linux OS from a USB to try logging in with that.

Have you tried clearing your browser cookies and site data? That could force Google to reconsider your session and prompt for 2FA. Just be cautious, as clearing cookies is similar to using private browsing, which is not what you're looking for. Still worth a shot though!
