I've been getting requests for ReadAI at my organization, but I'm curious if anyone has better alternatives for AI meeting summary software. Has anyone had good or bad experiences with different options?

Teams has this neat transcript plugin that works excellently for us. It manages to categorize discussions even when they stray off-topic, so we’re sticking with it for now.

I let a colleague try ReadAI, and honestly, it was a nightmare to get their summaries back out of his account. It's definitely not for us.

We've actually banned all AI-powered meeting summary tools due to the confidentiality risks they pose. Staff have asked for them, but we deny these requests and block access. We've had past incidents with information leaks that reaffirm our stance on this.

We tried Otter for a while, and it did a decent job with quick summaries. Not perfect, but it saved me from having to listen to an hour-long recording after joining a meeting late!

We've been using Teams Premium, which offers meeting transcripts and summaries at a lower cost than Copilot. Since we're already using Microsoft, it fits well for us. However, we do face challenges when clients use other platforms like Webex or Google Meet.
