I'm in the market for a new laptop primarily for development work and I'm considering various options. I've looked into Macs, an ultra-lightweight PC, and a lightweight gaming PC. I even ran some numbers through ChatGPT to see how productive I might be with these different choices. Do you think my comparisons make sense? Here's a link to the results I got: https://chatgpt.com/s/t_69ab6b1211248191ad79b2074b10c1b9

Wow, are you really doing 200 container rebuilds a day? What do you work on that requires so much?

Haha, yeah, that's probably a bit much! I didn't actually set those parameters; I should've asked it to tone it down.

You might be putting too much thought into it. When I switched from Windows to Linux on an older laptop, I saw a huge boost in my productivity, and those small time savings really add up over the day.

One thing I realized recently is that on a Mac, you can actually run containers from an external drive, which is pretty handy.
