Hey everyone! I'm considering buying a MacBook Neo, but I have a Samsung A35 and I'm not planning to switch to an iPhone since I like my phone and it's fairly new. I want to know how necessary it is to have an iPhone when using a MacBook Neo. Also, I've heard good things about battery life, which is really important to me, along with having a lightweight laptop. Is there anything else I should consider? Thanks for your help!

You’re all good! The Neo doesn’t require an iPhone at all, and you won't even notice the difference in day-to-day use. Just an FYI, if you're looking for something with even better battery life and performance, it might be worth exploring some other laptop options too.
You definitely don't need an iPhone. The MacBook Neo will work just fine on its own, without any other Apple products. The whole "ecosystem" concept can be overhyped sometimes! As for the Neo, it does have a bit thicker profile and not as great battery life when compared to the Air. If you're mainly using it for university work and watching YouTube, you might want to check if those aspects matter for you.
Nope, you don't need an iPhone to use the MacBook Neo. It's designed for everyone, and even though they market it with some features that work best with iPhones, having a different phone won't limit your usage at all! Just keep in mind what tasks you'll be doing with it. Oh, and it weighs about 2.7 lbs, similar to the MacBook Air.
