Help! I’m Getting a CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT BSOD When Playing Rainbow Six Siege

I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with my system crashing to a CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT blue screen of death (BSOD) every time I try to play Rainbow Six Siege. This only happens with this game; I can play others like Fallout 4 and Far Cry 4 without any problems.

Here are my specs:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 5600GT
- **GPU:** Radeon Vega 7 (Integrated)
- **Motherboard:** MSI A520M-A PRO
- **RAM:** 16GB (2x8) Corsair Vengeance 3200MHz (A-XMP Profile 1 enabled)
- **Storage:** 480GB SSD
- **OS:** Windows 11 Pro (fully activated and updated)

I've tried a lot of troubleshooting steps:
- Clean install of AMD Chipset drivers and AMD Adrenalin with a factory reset.
- Reset BIOS to optimized defaults and forced a 2GB VRAM allocation.
- Disabled Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) and tried slight voltage adjustments.
- Disabled Core Isolation (Memory Integrity) and switched to a high-performance power plan.
- Tried both versions of the game from Ubisoft Connect and Steam, and verified game files multiple times.

The BSOD occurs shortly after launching the game; I can't even get to the menu screen. It seems like it might be a conflict between the game's BattlEye anti-cheat system and my CPU architecture. Any advice would be appreciated—I'm really running out of ideas!

To really dig deep into this issue, you should check for any dump files related to the BSOD. If you can boot into Windows, navigate to C:WindowsMinidump, zip any files there, and upload them to a file sharing site. Multiple dump files can provide better insights into what's causing the crash.

Have you considered disabling C-states in your BIOS? Some AMD APUs have issues with the BattlEye anti-cheat when C-states are enabled. It might raise your CPU temperatures a bit, but it could help stabilize things while you’re in-game. Just go into your BIOS, find Advanced CPU Config, and disable Global C-State Control.

It sounds like you're doing a lot of the right troubleshooting! Since you're getting the BSOD specifically with R6, it could very well be related to the game or how it's interacting with your hardware. Have you tried resetting the game settings to default? Sometimes if the game can’t launch properly, default settings can help.
