I've recently purchased a USB microphone that works perfectly on Discord and during calls, but I'm facing issues when I try to use it for streaming or recording. I've gone through all the suggested fixes from privacy settings to ensuring the microphone isn't faulty, as I even exchanged my first mic for a new one. Despite all this, the microphone still won't register in those scenarios. Any advice on how I can get it to work would be really appreciated!

Also, make sure that your streaming or recording software is set to the USB mic as the audio input. Sometimes, even if your microphone is working in other apps, it may not be selected as the default device in your recording software's settings.
Have you checked if Discord is running while you're trying to stream or record? Sometimes the mic isn't available if an app is already using it. It might help to completely close any apps using the mic before starting your recording or streaming software.
