Need Help Getting My Ryzen 7 7800X3D to Work with B650E-E WiFi

Hey everyone, I'm having a tough time getting my Ryzen 7 7800X3D to work with my setup. I've tried pretty much every suggestion from this community and nothing seems to help. Here's my setup:

- Motherboard: Asus TUF Gaming B650E-E WiFi
- GPU: Asus Prime RX 9700 XT OC Edition
- RAM: Kingston Fury Renegade DDR5 8800MT/s 24 GB (1 slot)
- Previous CPU: Ryzen 5 9600X
- PSU: Corsair RM850e

My BIOS is updated to the latest version (non-beta). I've been messing around with configurations for memory and EXPO but still no luck. I've faced memory training issues for hours, and my system just fails to boot unless I switch back to the 9600X. I also tried changing voltage settings and uninstalling anything that could be causing conflicts, but I haven't reset the CMOS yet.

Today, I'm planning to buy new thermal paste and see if that helps. The thing is, my old setup with the 9600X runs perfectly. I don't want to give up on the 7800X3D but I'm running out of time before I have to return it. Does anyone have suggestions on configurations or ideas on what might be wrong? I just can't believe this CPU shouldn't work with my setup. Any input would be appreciated!

On my B650E-F, I had memory training settings set to auto, and it booted up in under a minute. Check your settings and try adjusting them to see if it makes a difference!

Did you check your cooler installation? When I swapped my AIO cooler, I encountered similar boot issues. Make sure your cooler isn't too tight on the CPU. It's best to remove it, reapply thermal paste, and ensure it’s only snug enough to hold it in place.

I did reinstall the cooler several times and made sure not to tighten it too much. I’m using Noctua paste with a Corsair liquid cooler and it works fine with the 9600X.

Your RAM might be causing the no boot issue. 8800MT/s is pretty high for AMD setups. Have you considered trying a lower frequency RAM or checking the RAM specifications?

I understand that 8800MT/s is high, but finding alternatives is tough. I did try downgrading the RAM to 5600MHz, which works fine with my 9600X, but it still doesn’t boot with the 7800X3D.

Is your RAM a CUDIMM? Just a heads up, Ryzen 7000 series CPUs don’t support CUDIMMs, which could be causing the boot issue.
