I'm completely new to building computers and looking to put together a PC with a budget of $750 or less. I already have a monitor, so I'm just looking for advice on what parts I should purchase to build a system from scratch. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Honestly, with that budget, you might be better off looking for a used or prebuilt option. It's often more cost-effective, especially if you're starting with no parts at all. You can always upgrade your system piece by piece later on.
I agree, especially if you don’t have any parts yet. If you can, look for a PC that supports DDR5—it's worth it, though DDR4 is still an option.

I could stretch it to $1000 if that helps.
