I'm having trouble getting my email recovery code because the phone number linked to my account is a home phone that can't receive text messages. I've been looking for help but no one seems to know how to solve this. Any advice would be really appreciated!

Most major email providers need you to confirm the SMS code when you set up two-factor authentication. How did you set up the SMS verification with a landline that can't receive texts? If your provider previously allowed voice calls, they might have dropped that feature. You should consider switching back to a service that supports it, or use an alternate MFA method or recovery codes that you got when you set up MFA.
You might want to consider getting a low-cost cell phone plan and porting your landline number to that. Alternatively, check with your current phone carrier to see if they offer any mobile services that could help.
I don't think porting a landline number would work, though, right?

Yeah, they removed the option to receive a code via a phone call a while back, which really stinks!
