I built my PC back in 2020 and haven't really used it much since. Recently, I played Resident Evil 9 without any issues, but when I tried to play Warzone, the game notified me that my BIOS firmware was outdated. I decided to update it and mistakenly plugged the USB drive into the top USB port instead of directly into the motherboard. The update seemed successful, but I've been having troubles with Warzone and enabling secure boot afterwards. My roommate changed the platform key, and now my computer won't boot at all. The lights and fans turn on, but there's no signal to the monitor. I've already tried different cables, reseating the RAM and GPU, and even replacing the CMOS battery. I'm concerned about potentially needing a new motherboard, as I've read this could be a typical issue with my motherboard series. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Check the manual or look up your motherboard online to see if it supports a BIOS flashback feature. If it doesn't, you might need to head to a repair shop or find someone with a chip programmer who knows what they're doing. Luckily, motherboard prices haven't skyrocketed like RAM has recently.

It sounds like when you changed the platform key, it might be prompting you for confirmation. Sometimes the low res screen that comes up isn't properly displayed by GPUs. If you can, try removing your graphics card and using onboard graphics to see if that lets you see the confirmation screen to get past it.
Try removing all unnecessary peripherals and cards, just keep the GPU and keyboard connected. Boot it up and check if your num lock or caps lock keys light up when pressed—that means it's working despite not displaying anything. If they don't respond, it might indicate a boot failure. Also, resetting the CMOS through the jumper can be helpful, as battery reseating might not always clear all settings.
You should definitely find out the exact model of your motherboard. It's usually labeled right on it. If you can't see it, you might want to check the manual or the manufacturer's website for specifics.
