I'm putting together a gaming PC for my girlfriend and aiming to keep the budget around €1100. The focus is mostly on 1080p light gaming, which includes visual novels, co-op games, puzzle games, and sometimes FPS or older AA/AAA titles. She specifically wants a white mesh case. My questions are:
1. Is CL16 RAM necessary for this build?
2. Can I find a less expensive power supply while still keeping it in the B category?
Thanks for any tips!

Curious, which country are you ordering from? You might be able to get an AM5 setup for that price range!
As a rule of thumb, I usually allocate around 40% of the budget for the graphics card in gaming setups. If you're in Germany, it's interesting you'd post in US dollars. Here's a build I've put together that's about €100 under budget and avoids QLC SSDs. Check it out! [PCPartPicker List](https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/XvWnn2)
Oh wow, I didn’t even know you could list items in different currencies! Thanks for sharing, I appreciate your suggestions.
Yes, you can definitely go cheaper on the PSU. I recommend this one: [Seasonic Core GX](https://geizhals.de/seasonic-core-gx-white-atx-3-2024-gx-650-650w-atx-3-1-srp-cgx651-a5a32sf-w-a3454810.html). CL18 RAM is fine; CL16 is only worth it if the price difference isn’t too big. With the money saved on the PSU, consider upgrading to an R7 5700X.
Your CPU choice seems solid for the budget, and you're unlikely to save much more than €10 by downgrading it. Overall, looks like a great build, and I'm sure she'll love it!

I'm originally from Slovenia, but I typically order parts from Germany since they're cheaper.
