Hey everyone! I've been dealing with a nightmare for the past month. It all started when I tried to download a cracked game, and I believe that led to a malware infection. Since then, every account I've logged into—from Instagram and Facebook to Gmail and even gaming platforms like Battle.net—has been hacked. Fortunately, I managed to recover them all.
I put in a lot of effort changing passwords, reinstalling Windows using an external USB, and setting up two-factor authentication and other security measures. I even wiped my computer completely! Just when I thought things were settling down, I got hit again. An old Yahoo account linked to my Reddit was targeted, and I ended up deleting that account. My Spotify was hijacked, playing random songs, and now I'm getting attempted logins on Steam. Thankfully, the mobile app is secure, so they haven't gotten through there.
Even after everything I've done, I'm worried that they might still be using my old data. Should I just keep a daily check on my accounts despite having all the security features? I found malware before, but now I've done a clean install. Any advice would be appreciated!

It sounds like you've been through a lot! To ensure your accounts are really secure after all that, make sure you're using complex and unique passwords for each account. I recommend a password manager to help you keep track of them. Also, check for any saved passwords or autofill settings in the browsers you use. Even after a fresh install, if those are still there, they can lead to problems again!

I wiped everything from Chrome, but you've got a point. I'll double-check those settings just to be safe. Thanks for the tip!
