I keep getting a message that says, "We're sorry, but your computer or network may be sending automated queries. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now," after refreshing Google Maps on Microsoft Edge when it stopped loading. There's no captcha to complete either. I'm using a Windows 11 desktop. Can anyone help me figure this out? By the way, it seems to work fine on Firefox, but I'd like to get it sorted on Edge and Chrome too.

Happening for me too, just on Chrome though. Edge and Firefox are working fine on my end. Makes no sense!
Check if your VPN is turned off or if you have any privacy tools that might be impacting it. Sometimes those can mess with connections and trigger those kinds of error messages.
So are they saying that privacy tools are a no-go? That's kind of ridiculous!
You're not alone! I opened your post and suddenly everyone in my company was messaging about the same issue. Just seems to be a Google Maps problem right now!
It looks like Google Maps might just be down at the moment. I noticed the same thing, and DownDetector is showing loads of reports about issues. Might just have to wait it out!
Yeah, I saw that article about it too. It's strange when their own browser has trouble with their own service!

It's hilarious how the browser from the same company has issues with its own services!
