I mistakenly clicked on a WiFi network that seemed suspicious and quickly disconnected. I'm wondering if I'm still at risk of getting a virus or if my personal information is compromised by this action.

Just to add, connecting to these kinds of networks can expose your data if you’re not careful. But since you disconnected right away, you should be okay. It's a good idea to change your passwords as a precaution, just to be safe.

Be cautious moving forward. Malicious networks can potentially steal information, but if you didn’t stay connected long, the risk is reduced. Just avoid entering sensitive info on public WiFi in future.

It sounds like you might have encountered a fake or malicious WiFi network, often called an Evil Twin network. If you disconnected right away and didn’t download or interact with anything while connected, the risk is low. Just keep an eye on your devices for unusual behavior and ensure your security software is up to date.
