I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to sync Netflix across two different TVs I own – a TCL downstairs and an LG upstairs. I frequently watch shows like Brooklyn Nine-Nine, but the episodes are mismatched between the two. For instance, I left off on episode 9 upstairs, but downstairs, it's showing episode 2 since I watched that earlier. The last streaming device I had was a Google TV, which synced perfectly with the LG, but that broke recently. Is it just Google TVs that can sync with other brands? Am I stuck with this inconvenience until I replace one of the TVs? Also, I apologize if I posted in the wrong place; I'm not very tech-savvy and would appreciate any guidance.

The issue is likely tied to the way the app interacts with the streaming service. TV apps can often be buggy, and using an external streaming device tends to resolve many of these problems.
It sounds like you might have different user profiles on Netflix. Are there other users in your account? That can sometimes cause episode discrepancies.
This might not even be a TV issue. If one of your TVs goes into an eco mode or different standby state, it might lose its connection and not update correctly. Have you tried logging out and back into Netflix, or even deleting and reinstalling the app?
I haven’t done that yet, but that’s a good idea! I’ll try logging out and reinstalling the app.
Sometimes, you can just refresh your list from the main menu to sync up. It works on services like Crunchyroll, so it might do the trick for Netflix too.
Make sure you're logged into the same Netflix account on both TVs. I haven’t encountered any sync issues between my devices, like my iPhone and Roku, when I'm using the same account.
Yes, I am using just one account since I live alone.

No, it's just me.
