Hey everyone! I'm facing a really frustrating issue and I'm hoping someone out there has a solution. My Bluetooth headphones connect to my Windows 11 laptop, but there's no sound coming through them—it's still coming from my laptop's speakers. The headphones are showing as connected but there's no audio or mic information displayed. I can control playback with the headphone buttons, but when I play videos, I still hear the sound from the laptop speakers instead. I've tried various steps like reinstalling drivers, but nothing seems to work. I tested the headphones with my phone, and they work fine, so it's not the headphones. I'm starting to think this might be a weird glitch with Windows 11. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Check in your settings if your headphones show up under Audio in Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Devices. I had a similar issue before. Sometimes, simply removing the device and re-adding it works. Also, consider updating your Bluetooth driver from your motherboard's website or just rebooting your PC and trying again. Bluetooth can be a bit tricky sometimes!
No worries! This issue is pretty common on Windows. Here’s a simple fix: click the volume icon on your taskbar, then check if your headphones are listed there. Look for a small arrow next to the speaker volume option; hover over it and you should see 'select a sound output.' Click on that, and from the list of devices, select your headphones. This might just do the trick!
It got fixed! Thanks for the insight. I had to reinstall my Bluetooth driver and update it manually.

I had to install my Bluetooth driver manually and update it to get it fixed. I was really skeptical about it being a glitch or something!
