I'm having trouble with my USB microphone where it keeps picking up audio from applications on my PC, like my browser and VLC. I use separate headphones that connect via 3.5mm, but they aren't a headset, just headphones without a mic. This issue gets really noticeable during Discord calls as there's an echo. While I've tried using noise suppression and adjusting the microphone sensitivity, it only minimizes the echo slightly. The sensitivity bar on Discord shows that my PC audio is still getting picked up, which is frustrating because my voice ends up quite low and people struggle to hear me. It's even worse in some in-game voice chats where I resort to using push-to-talk. I feel like my microphone might be blending with my headphones somehow, even though they're entirely separate devices. Has anyone else faced this issue and found a solution?

If you're having this issue, try reinstalling your sound drivers through the Device Manager. I had a similar problem where the microphone was set to listen for audio, causing feedback. Reinstalling the drivers worked for me!
What kind of microphone are you using? Some USB mics have a 3.5mm output for monitoring that can actually catch PC sounds too. You might want to check if your mic has any similar options.
I don't think it's picking sounds from my headphones; it feels like my mic is capturing audio directly from the PC itself. It’s a Secondwave Dynamic mic, if that helps.
I checked the drivers, but unfortunately, all the options are greyed out, so I can't reinstall or update them.
