I'm planning to build a new PC but I'm struggling to put together a setup with a 9070 XT for around $1600. I've got some experience with DDR4 RAM, but I'm not sure how to best optimize my build for this budget. Any advice?

Check out this build for around $1850. I know it's over your budget, but it includes AM5 and DDR5 RAM, so you'll have room for upgrades later. It's worth considering if you want something more future-proof.

If you’re near a Microcenter, they have a great deal on mobo, RAM, and CPU bundles that could save you a good chunk!

Honestly, $1900 is a more realistic budget if you want quality components without cutting corners. I'm currently building an AM4 setup, and it's tricky to stay under that if you want good performance without using budget parts that might not last.

What's your build looking like? I’m always curious how others budget their parts!

If there's a Microcenter nearby, they have some prebuilts priced below what you'd expect right now. I've seen options around $1700 and even a cheaper variant for $1500, both sporting the 9070 XT.

I managed to snag my 9070 XT for about 900 CAD, which is around 650 USD. If you're aiming for $1600 total, you'd have to get creative with the other parts. You could build something decent if you're willing to source parts from different places.
