I've been experiencing unusual traffic warnings from Google lately, and it's been really stressful for me. A month ago, I accidentally downloaded a Trojan while using a suspicious copy of a site to download a video. I cleaned up my computer, but I'm still not fully comfortable using it, especially since I was already planning to get a new laptop for college. I even factory reset my router and have been continuously checking my laptop and phone for malware with antivirus programs, but nothing has come up. However, for the past two weeks, while browsing on my phone with Brave, I keep getting captchas for unusual activity. I'm really worried that there might still be something malicious somewhere in my network.

I had the same issue on Firefox a few weeks back. I ran scans and found no malware. I suspect Google might be just being quirky with its traffic checks. Hang in there!
I've seen a lot of users report similar issues with Brave recently. It might be a browser bug rather than a virus on your device. If you don’t get these warnings while using other browsers, it’s likely just Brave acting up.
It sounds like your worries might be unfounded. If your scans show nothing, there's a good chance you're just experiencing a false positive from your network. IP addresses can pick up some dirty baggage that makes websites act up. It’s definitely not a sign that you’ve been hacked. Just keep your antivirus updated and stay vigilant!
That makes sense. I’ve heard that happens sometimes too. It’s good to know it might not just be me being paranoid!

Yeah, seems like a lot of people are running into this lately. It's likely a mix-up on Google's side!
