I'm feeling really lost right now and overwhelmed by my coding journey. I'm currently stuck on a project for a Weather App as part of The Odin Project, and I find myself relying heavily on AI tools, like VS Copilot, to get through my work. I understand the basics and can read code just fine, but when it comes to writing it myself, I feel paralyzed. I often see discussions about using documentation and Google, but I don't know where to start or what questions to ask. I'm concerned about investing too much time in each project and feeling like I've wasted my efforts. I'm 26, and the pressure of the job market in Italy makes me feel like I'm making a bad choice pursuing programming. Can anyone offer advice or share similar experiences? How can I ask better questions without relying on AI? Am I too late to make this work?

It's totally normal to feel dependent on AI, especially when you're starting out. Trust me; a lot of us still Google things every day, no matter our age or experience. Just keep pushing through! You're not alone in this struggle, and you'll get more comfortable with coding over time.
I think it’s key for you to take a step back and try rewriting some older, simpler projects on your own. Use resources to look up specific steps instead of complete solutions. For instance, if you forget how to create a function, just Google that instead of the entire project. That way, you can build your skills incrementally without feeling overwhelmed.
