I've been trying to create an account on ScienceForums.net, but I'm stuck because their registration page has a security check that just won't load. I've tried using multiple IP addresses from different countries, turned off my VPN, and even used different browsers and devices, but nothing seems to work. This issue has persisted for weeks. To make matters worse, I can't reach out to the moderators since their contact system uses the same broken security check. What can I do to resolve this?

It sounds like the site might have a poorly implemented security check. I've seen similar issues on sites running on Invision Boards. They might have JavaScript errors causing the captcha not to load properly. Given that there are significantly more guests than registered users, it's likely been broken for quite some time.
It sounds like the site's captcha or security script isn't loading properly, which can happen for a number of reasons like blocked scripts or DNS issues. Try disabling any ad blockers you have, switch to a different DNS like Google or Cloudflare, and make sure JavaScript is turned on. If it's broken across devices and networks, it's probably a misconfiguration on their part, and there’s not much you can do.
I had the same problem with Chrome and Firefox. It seems to be an issue on their end. However, when I tried it on Microsoft Edge, it worked fine. So, you might want to give that a shot!
