I'm working out of a company trailer where the internet is wired directly to the TV. I want to create a wireless signal from this setup to minimize my data usage while I'm out of town. Does anyone have suggestions for devices or methods that could help with this?

Just curious, is the connection only via Ethernet, or are you using an industrial smart TV that might already have built-in router capabilities? That would change things up a bit.
You can simply go to Walmart and explain your situation. You need a router, and they should be able to help you with that.
I’d recommend picking up a GL.iNet travel router. It’s portable, affordable, and great for situations like yours where you need to create a wireless network from a wired connection.
It's best to avoid just buying any random router and unplugging things without checking first. Depending on your company, they might have a tech team or a designated person in charge of the network. I'd suggest talking to your boss about connecting with that person. They could potentially have a company router available for you to use or might know of a hidden wireless network that’s not currently broadcasting. Plus, even if you set up your own router, it might not work with the company's network due to security measures they probably have in place to prevent unauthorized access. So, definitely check with your boss first before spending any money.

Just a heads up, don’t expect too much help with technical questions there. It’s better to do your research online first and maybe even order what you need right away instead of relying on in-store assistance.
