I recently created a brand-new AWS account, but attempts to register a domain through the domain service are being blocked. The message suggests this may be a security or account-verification restriction, so I opened a support case as instructed. However, the case has not received a response yet. Is this normal for new accounts, and is there a way to get the issue reviewed more quickly?

If you’re using the free support tier, response times can be slow and access to account-level assistance is limited. A paid support plan may provide faster case handling, but it still won’t guarantee that AWS will approve domain registration immediately.
