Is It Possible to Use My Company’s VPN on Ubuntu Instead of Windows?

I've been dual-booting Windows 10 and Ubuntu 24.04 for about a month now, and I'm getting pretty comfortable doing most of my work in Ubuntu, like coding and managing emails. However, I still need to switch back to Windows mainly for deploying builds that require my company's VPN, which only works on Windows and Mac. I've read that strongSwan could be a solution to help with this. Can anyone share if it's feasible to set up our company's VPN on Ubuntu? I'd love to get rid of the dual-boot and just work fully on Ubuntu if possible!

Check out this article I found—it could guide you through configuring strongSwan to connect your VPN on Ubuntu. It looks promising!

Thanks for the link! I'm a bit nervous about all the configurations, but I'll give it a shot and follow the steps!

Absolutely, Linux can connect to a VPN, but you'll need the right configuration from your IT department. Have you tried talking to someone in IT? They might be able to help you set it up!
