Hey everyone! I've just picked up a Neewer 8000 microphone, and I'm trying to figure out how to set it up to get the best voice quality. Right now, my voice is barely audible, and I'm not really knowledgeable about this stuff. Do I need to use any specific software to adjust the settings? For reference, I have a Gigabyte B550 X 2.0 motherboard. Any tips would be super appreciated!

Before diving into settings, can you let us know what audio interface you're using? Using an interface can make a big difference. If you’re just plugging it straight into your computer via USB, it might not provide enough power for the mic, which could explain the low volume. Check this video for a comparison of the mic sounds with and without phantom power.
I'm not an expert either, but I connected my Neewer 8000 directly to my PC using USB, and I'm on Windows 11. Do you think that might be the issue?
