My iPhone 11 recently stopped working, and I'm planning to upgrade to a new phone. The problem is that I can't access my iCloud data because I forgot the email address and password connected to my Apple Account. At first, it appeared that my phone number wasn't linked to the account, and I couldn't use the usual verification steps because the broken phone couldn't scan a QR code or complete the required prompts. I later confirmed that the phone number is connected, but I still don't know the exact iCloud email address, and attempts to use an account I think is correct result in a "session timed out" message. Can phone support help identify the account or recover access, and what should I try next?

Phone support can explain the available recovery options, but they generally can’t bypass Apple’s verification requirements. If you can’t provide enough information to prove that the account belongs to you, the account and its iCloud data may not be recoverable. Try account lookup and recovery from another device or browser rather than relying on the broken iPhone.
Start with Apple’s official account-recovery process. You may be able to identify the Apple Account using your name, phone number, or other account details, then reset the password through a trusted number or device. Make sure you write down the recovered email address and new credentials once you regain access.
Check any other Apple devices, old emails, receipts, or account messages for the Apple Account address. You can also look in the account settings of devices where you may still be signed in. Once you identify the address, use the official password-reset and account-recovery options; there isn’t a legitimate way to skip identity verification.

I found that the phone number is connected, and I may remember the account email, but signing in keeps ending with a session-timeout error. I’ll try the recovery process from another device and contact support if it continues.
