I'm currently using a ROG Strix B550-F Gaming motherboard with a Ryzen 7 3700X, an RTX 2060 Super, and 32GB of DDR4 memory. This is my first PC upgrade in roughly six years, so I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by current prices and choices. I'd like to make a sensible, relatively future-proof upgrade and have been considering the Radeon RX 9060 XT, especially the 16GB model. Would it be a good match for my system, and should I also plan to replace my CPU?

The 16GB version of the RX 9060 XT is the one I’d choose. Your motherboard supports newer AM4 processors, so a Ryzen 5 5600X or a Ryzen 7 5700X/5800X could be a relatively affordable future upgrade. You may need to update the motherboard BIOS first.
The RX 9060 XT 16GB would be a strong upgrade, particularly if you can find it around $500. The extra VRAM should help with newer games, and it can handle 1440p well. Your Ryzen 7 3700X can be upgraded later, with something like a Ryzen 7 5700X making a good follow-up upgrade.
