I'm curious about the use of 'absolute.inset-0' on websites. I've seen it in action on Reddit's feed, and it got me wondering about its purpose. Is it primarily for preventing duplicate content issues in terms of SEO, or does it serve other useful functions? I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences! Thanks!

Using absolute with inset-0 is super useful when you need an element to cover its parent fully. If you’re looking for an alternative, CSS Grid could be a better option for layout! Check out some of the grid discussions for more insights.

I often deploy absolute and inset-0 for modals to cover the entire screen, apply a dark semi-transparent background, and center content perfectly. It's a quick and effective way to create overlays!

But wouldn't using fixed positioning work better for that, or wouldn't a Dialog component be more appropriate since it stays on top?

Absolute positioning lets elements really stand out, giving them freedom to position themselves independently without being influenced by other elements. It's perfect when you want something to just take charge of its space!
