I'm building my first PC and am testing the components outside the case before installing everything. My graphics card is an ASUS Prime RTX 5070 Ti 16GB, and my power supply is an ASRock Steel Legend SL-850P 850W. The GPU includes a three-plug power adapter. The PSU came with three PCIe cables: one with a solid 8-pin connector and two with separate 6+2-pin connectors. I'm unsure whether I need to connect all three adapter plugs, whether the 6+2 connectors can be clipped together and used as standard 8-pin connectors, and whether all three PCIe cables should be connected to the PSU's PCIe/SATA sockets. This is my first build, so I'd appreciate confirmation before powering anything on.

Yes, connect all three plugs on the GPU’s adapter using the PCIe cables supplied with the power supply. The separate 6-pin and 2-pin sections are designed to be pushed together, forming a normal 8-pin connector. Make sure each cable is plugged into a PCIe/SATA socket on the PSU—not one of the CPU sockets—and only use cables that came with this exact power supply.
