My friend has lost her iPhone 14, and the SIM card has been removed. Find My currently shows the phone as offline, while Lost Mode is still pending. Is there any other way to track it or see its current location, or will it only update if the phone reconnects to the internet? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a separate way to get a live location while the iPhone is offline. Lost Mode can’t fully activate until the phone connects to Wi‑Fi or cellular data. Removing the SIM prevents cellular service through that card, but the phone could still come online over Wi‑Fi. Keep checking Find My, leave Lost Mode enabled, and mark the device as lost. Don’t remove it from the Apple Account, since that can disable Activation Lock protection.
