I found a good deal on a TeamGroup T-Force Vulcan Z 2x8GB memory kit, but I'm not familiar with the brand. Is TeamGroup a trustworthy manufacturer, and is this RAM generally reliable, or should I avoid it as a generic off-brand product?

Modern RAM should perform as advertised when run at its rated settings. Once it arrives, you can run an extended memory test to check for errors, especially if you want extra peace of mind.
