I'm looking to spend about $2,000 USD on a PC for gaming and content creation. I don't need a system aimed at the most demanding games, and features like AI upscaling or gaming-focused extras aren't important to me. Would building a PC or buying a prebuilt make more sense, and what parts or systems would you recommend?

Are you located in the United States, and is there a Micro Center within driving distance? Their bundle deals can make a DIY build significantly cheaper, especially if you’re comfortable assembling the system. Even a one- to two-hour trip may be worthwhile depending on the parts and availability.
The closest Micro Center is roughly one to two hours away, so I’m trying to decide whether the savings would justify the drive.
