Hey everyone! I'm a web developer currently reworking a large-scale project and I'm looking to incorporate AI into my workflow to reduce development time. I've noticed that tasks that used to take five hours can now be completed in just two to three hours with AI assistance. Currently, I'm using Cursor for some help, but I'm hoping to leverage AI even more effectively.
I'm focused on updating components based on my Figma designs without altering their existing functionality. Essentially, I want to restyle them—think updating colors, fonts, positioning text, and applying new visual styles. I want to speed up this part of the process as it tends to be pretty time-consuming but doesn't require deep coding skills. Ideally, I'd like a way to paste in my new designs alongside the existing components to streamline the process. How are others in the community tackling integrating AI into their frontend development?

I totally get what you're saying! Improving your prompt skills can really make a difference. I usually have ChatGPT help me come up with prompts based on my designs, and then I feed those into Cursor. It’s a game changer for saving time!
I've faced similar challenges! I've found that using design-to-code tools like Anima or Copiot can really help connect design and development seamlessly. They allow you to apply new styles without messing with the logic too much. Plus, AI-powered CSS generators can speed up the styling updates, letting you focus more on integrating designs instead of manual tweaks.
Thanks for the tip! I'm definitely going to check out Anima. It sounds like it could be exactly what I need!
