I added a second monitor and placed it directly above my existing one. The displays are arranged correctly in the display settings, but when I move the cursor upward from the lower monitor, it stops at the top edge instead of crossing onto the monitor above. I can reach the upper display by moving through my third monitor, but I'd like to move directly between the two stacked screens. How can I fix this?

Windows can make the cursor transition seem dependent on the monitor arrangement. Normally you can move left or right to reach another display, but for vertically stacked screens the edges need to line up exactly in Display Settings. Check carefully for a narrow gap between the two monitor rectangles and remove it.
Open Display Settings and click Identify so you can confirm which screen is which. Then make sure the monitor icons match the physical layout. With multiple monitors, even a tiny gap between the stacked displays can block the cursor. Temporarily move the primary monitor to the bottom, snap the two stacked monitors tightly together with no gap, apply the change, and then move the primary monitor back and apply again.
The monitor arrangement already matches the physical setup, but I’ll try temporarily moving the primary display and snapping the stacked screens together. The cursor does move through the monitor on the side, just not directly between these two.
