Am I Hacked or Just Experiencing Popup Scams?

I visited a movie website today, and when I went back to the link, I encountered some really strange pop-up ads. One of them claimed to be from Apple Security, saying my phone's memory had 17% damage and that immediate action was necessary to prevent my data from being compromised. Another alert said my iPhone had been hacked and that all operations were being tracked by hackers. This is making me really uneasy. Can someone guide me on what to do?

No need to worry! It sounds like you've just encountered a scam popup, which is pretty common. You can't get hacked just by clicking a link, especially if your device is up-to-date. Usually, the only time you'd have an issue is if you download and run something questionable. Just ignore those alerts and move on!

Thanks! I appreciate the reassurance. I was nervous since I kept getting popups after closing them, and one looked legit since it seemed to come from Apple.
