I recently received my first power supply unit (PSU) and realized that it didn't include the main power cable. I only noticed this after I had already set up everything, so I used a power cable from an older PC I had. My PC runs fine initially, but it tends to restart, especially when I'm playing games like Fortnite. I'm looking for advice on whether I can find a replacement power cable for my MSI MAG AGL750, or if there's a suitable alternative available on Amazon. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Your old power cable should work fine with your new PSU, so I think the restarts might be due to something else. It could be an overheating issue or maybe even a hardware conflict. Have you monitored your temperatures when you’re gaming? That might give more clues!
Just grab any IEC power cord rated for your region, usually around 15A. They’re pretty cheap and widely available!
You're talking about the IEC power cable that connects your PSU to the wall, right? Those cables are universal for most power supplies under 1500W. In fact, I've used old cables from devices like my childhood Apple II with modern setups! So honestly, I doubt this issue is related to your cable. It might be something different causing those restarts.
That’s a good point! I’ll check my CPU and GPU temperatures while I’m gaming to see if that’s the culprit. Thanks for the tip!
That’s true! But while they are mostly universal, some cables might have different fuses depending on where you live. Just keep that in mind!
