Why Do My Headphones Always Sound Off?

I've been dealing with audio issues across multiple headsets I've tried recently. A few months back, my old headset broke after years of use, but it worked fine until then. I first replaced it with a STEELSERIES Arctis Nova 1, which had a problem where the left side was way louder than the right. After some research, I found out that this was a common problem with that model, so I decided to go for another brand. I got a JBL Quantum 100M2, but the issue persisted—now, one side sounded clearer while the other had a heavier bass. I thought maybe it was due to the connection type, as my old headset was USB and the new ones are jack connections. I recently picked up a Logitech G733, but shockingly, the exact same audio imbalance is there again! I'm starting to wonder if it could be my ears, but that seems like a crazy coincidence. I've even tried downgrading my audio driver (Realtek), but nothing has changed. The Windows volume balance just makes one side louder overall. Does anyone have any ideas or workarounds? Thanks!

Have you checked if there's any software that came with your headphones? Sometimes those apps can help balance the audio better depending on the headset. Also, are you using Bluetooth, USB, or the audio jack? Switching connections might make a difference!

I've used Steelseries GG before, and now I’m on Logitech G HUB. I've also removed all Steelseries drivers. Strange, but neither program seems to have settings that help.
