Driver 616.92 causes my PC to go to a black screen and reboot while gaming. I also tried three older driver versions, changing the display refresh rate from 144 Hz to 120 Hz and 60 Hz, and disabling Multi-Plane Overlay. Since the issue seems to affect different graphics cards, I'm not sure what else to test. I eventually reset Windows 11 and initially installed an older driver, but the system now crashes even when I open Chrome. I also completely removed and reinstalled the graphics drivers with DDU in Safe Mode.

Since you already used DDU and the crashes now happen in Chrome too, this may not be a driver-only problem. Check temperatures, power connections, and Windows Event Viewer for display-driver, WHEA, or Kernel-Power errors. Also test the system with hardware acceleration disabled in Chrome and run a memory test. If it still crashes with different drivers and a fresh Windows installation, RAM, the graphics card, power supply, or motherboard becomes more likely than the driver itself.
That makes sense. I’ll check the event logs and test the hardware instead of continuing to swap driver versions.
