I'm considering buying an unusually expensive item from Misco because they're offering it at a very attractive price. However, their Trustpilot reviews are overwhelmingly negative, so I'm concerned about possible problems with delivery, customer service, returns, or getting support if something goes wrong. Has anyone dealt with Misco recently, particularly for business or higher-value purchases?

Our experience was much less positive a few years ago. They took over one of our suppliers, and the service quality dropped sharply afterward. We moved to another supplier fairly quickly. Things may have improved since then, but that experience made us reluctant to use them for anything urgent or complicated.
I’ve used the current version of Misco for several years, including purchases through a credit agreement, and haven’t had any serious issues. They’ve generally delivered what was ordered. If you’re worried about the transaction, paying by credit card could give you additional protection.
We have a business account with them and a dedicated account manager. Overall, they’ve been fine and often come back as the best-priced option when we compare three quotes. The only real problem we’ve had was a product advertised with a three-day lead time arriving about a week and a half later, so I’d be cautious about relying on their delivery estimates.
