I'm using an HP OmniBook X Flip 16 with Windows 11 Home, and I keep getting intrusive "Sponsored Ad" notifications from HP Featured Offers in the bottom-right corner. They promote shopping deals and browser extensions. I've disabled Windows' general suggestions and promotional notifications, but these pop-ups continue. I also couldn't tell whether HP Featured Offers is a standalone app or part of another HP utility. What's the best way to permanently disable or remove whatever is generating these notifications?

This probably isn’t coming from Windows itself. It’s most likely being generated by HP Support Assistant or a related HP promotional component. You can remove it through Settings > Apps > Installed apps, search for HP Support Assistant, and select Uninstall. The laptop should continue working normally; you can still download drivers manually from HP if needed.
If you don’t use HP Support Assistant, uninstalling it is generally safe and should stop its promotional notifications. After removing it, restart the laptop and check whether the offers have disappeared.
Another option is a clean Windows installation, which removes most manufacturer-installed extras. That’s more drastic than necessary here, though, and you should back up your files first. For this issue, removing the HP utility that displays the ads is the simpler fix.
