How can I stop scam notifications from a suspicious website on Windows 11?

I accidentally clicked "Allow notifications" on a suspicious website while using my Windows 11 laptop. Since then, I've been seeing repeated scam or virus warnings. The notifications mention "jutiners.co.in," and I initially assumed a program had been installed. I disabled the notifications, but I can't find anything with that name in Installed Apps or the Start menu. Is this likely a browser notification permission rather than an installed program, and what steps should I take to remove it and check that my laptop is safe?

That name is probably a website, not a Windows program. Allowing notifications normally only gives the site permission to send alerts through your browser; it doesn’t install an app. Open the notification settings for every browser you use—such as Chrome, Edge, or Firefox—and remove or block jutiners.co.in and any other unfamiliar sites. Also check browser extensions and remove anything you don’t recognize.

I checked the browser’s allowed-notifications list, but the site wasn’t shown there. I’m not sure where else the alerts could be coming from.

Look at the notification itself when it appears. It may show which browser or application generated it. In Windows, you can also open Settings > System > Notifications and review the list of apps allowed to send notifications. If the alerts continue, run a full scan with Windows Security, including the offline scan if needed, and uninstall any suspicious browser extensions or recently installed software.

The exact location of the name matters. If it only appears in the alert title or message, it’s almost certainly a website sending browser notifications. If it appears as a startup entry or installed application, that would be different. Rather than searching for the domain as a program, identify the browser or app shown as the notification source and disable its permission there.
