I want to play Call of Duty and think I may need to update my BIOS, but I'm not sure how to do it. My motherboard is a Gigabyte B550 UD AC, though I don't know its exact hardware revision. I'm using an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X. There are several BIOS downloads available, and I'd like to know which one to choose and how to install it with a USB drive.

After downloading the BIOS, format a USB drive as FAT32, extract the downloaded file, and copy the BIOS file to the root of the drive. Restart the computer, enter the BIOS, open the Q-Flash utility, choose the update option, and select the file on the USB drive. Keep the system powered on throughout the process, and avoid updating unless you have a specific reason, since an interrupted BIOS update can cause problems.

First, find the exact motherboard revision printed directly on the board, such as 1.0, 1.1, or 1.2. Go to Gigabyte’s official support page, select the matching revision, and download the newest BIOS version listed for it. Don’t use a BIOS intended for a different revision.

The motherboard manual is useful here because it shows the exact Q-Flash menu and USB requirements. The multiple downloads are usually different BIOS releases listed by date, but the correct revision matters more than simply choosing a file from a search result. Double-check the model and revision before starting.
