I opened an AWS support case 11 days ago about a Control Tower problem, but it still hasn't been assigned. Previous cases were usually answered within three or four days. Now every page in the Control Tower console fails with this error: `1 validation error detected: Value '' at 'nextToken' failed to satisfy constraint: Member must have length less than or equal to 1000`. Since the token is generated by the console itself, this appears to be an AWS-side pagination bug rather than a configuration problem. I'm trying to understand whether Basic Support covers issues like this, because I don't want to pay for a more expensive support plan just to report what looks like a service defect.

This error does sound like a console-side pagination problem: the console is sending a `nextToken` longer than the API allows. Basic Support probably won’t investigate it as a technical bug, so the practical options are waiting for AWS to resolve it, checking service-health information and public documentation, or opening a paid technical case if the issue is blocking important work.
Basic Support generally covers account and billing help, not troubleshooting technical services such as Control Tower. That’s why technical cases usually require a paid support plan. The policy itself isn’t new, although the lack of a response can still be frustrating.
Even paid support tiers may not be especially quick. Some users report waiting weeks for answers to relatively straightforward technical questions, so the service quality can vary a lot. For a production environment, it may be worth comparing the support cost with handling these incidents internally or evaluating another platform.
