Is TeamGroup T-Force Vulcan Z RAM reliable?

I found a good deal on a TeamGroup T-Force Vulcan Z 2x8GB memory kit, but I'm not familiar with the brand. Is TeamGroup a trustworthy manufacturer, and is this RAM generally reliable, or should I avoid it as a generic off-brand product?

Modern RAM should perform as advertised when run at its rated settings. Once it arrives, you can run an extended memory test to check for errors, especially if you want extra peace of mind.

Good idea, thanks for the advice.

TeamGroup has been making memory products for many years and is a well-established brand. I’ve used their RAM instead of more expensive brands and had good results. If it’s a good deal and compatible with your motherboard, I’d go for it.

TeamGroup is a legitimate memory manufacturer, not a generic unknown brand. The T-Force Vulcan series is generally solid, and plenty of people use it without problems. If the price and specifications fit your system, it’s a reasonable choice.
