I installed Linux Mint Cinnamon on a new GMKtec G3 with an Intel Alder Lake-N100 processor and integrated Intel UHD Graphics. During installation, the TV showed "no input" unless I used compatibility mode or booted with nomodeset. After completing the installation, installing all updates, and switching to kernel 7.0, the system still produces no display signal unless one of those options is enabled. Is there a graphics or display configuration fix for this?

Check Driver Manager, although it may correctly report that no additional drivers are needed. The N100 uses integrated Intel graphics, which normally rely on the kernel and Mesa rather than a separate proprietary driver. Also remember that nomodeset disables normal graphics modesetting, so it is mainly a workaround and not a real fix.
The TV itself does not need a Samsung-specific Linux driver. The important parts are the Intel graphics stack, the HDMI connection, and any AV receiver or adapter in the signal path. If the receiver is involved, test the computer directly on the TV first, since receivers can sometimes fail to negotiate the display mode correctly.
It is a Samsung TV, and I was also wondering whether passing the signal through an AV receiver changes what needs to be configured.
