I recently moved my PC, and afterward it stopped turning on. This has happened before, but it would sometimes start working again without any clear explanation. When I switch on the PSU, the motherboard RGB lights briefly illuminate and the CPU AIO display flashes, but neither stays on. Pressing the case power button does nothing—there are no BIOS diagnostic lights, sounds, or unusual smells.
I've already replaced the PSU and CMOS battery, reseated and recabled everything, and checked that the CPU is installed correctly. I also tried removing the RTX 4070 Ti Super, removing the RAM, and testing with one stick and then both sticks. Unfortunately, I don't have spare components available for testing.

Because the problem started after moving the computer, I’d first suspect a loose connection or a short before assuming the motherboard is dead. Recheck the 24-pin motherboard connector, the CPU EPS power connector, the front-panel power-switch plug, and all AIO connections. If you can, remove the motherboard from the case and try a bare-minimum boot with only the motherboard, CPU, cooler, and one RAM stick. That can reveal whether the case or an incorrectly positioned standoff is causing a short.
Try starting the system by briefly bridging the two power-switch pins on the motherboard with a screwdriver. This bypasses the case button, which can be damaged or disconnected—especially after the computer has been moved. Make sure you identify the correct pins first and only touch them momentarily.
The symptoms can also come from a failed CPU, not just a motherboard. I had a similar situation where replacing the motherboard didn’t solve the problem, and the CPU turned out to be faulty too. Without spare parts, the most practical next step may be testing the CPU and motherboard at a repair shop or with compatible known-good components.
