Recommendations for a User-Friendly Web Builder for Therapy Websites

I'm a psychotherapist and I'm on the lookout for a good web builder to create my own website. I've got a background in graphic design and can manage basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but I've been struggling with Webflow lately. The costs are adding up, and I don't have the skills required to customize everything the way I want it. What I'm after is a web builder that is easy to use but still offers plenty of customization options, like pre-made but customizable 3D animations. I'm also looking for reasonable pricing (hosting does not need to be included) and a CMS for blogging, along with easy integration for a booking system or an online shop. I appreciate any suggestions you might have!

Have you tried any AI website builders? They can be pretty helpful. You'd get a site built by AI but still be able to tweak the code where needed. It’s possible you could get close to what you want in just a few weeks. Otherwise, you might need to consider a custom site built by developers, but that could significantly raise your costs.

Webflow is quite powerful but can be more than what you really need, especially if customization is getting frustrating. What specifically is holding you back with Webflow? Is it the editor, the pricing, or features you find hard to implement?

As a long-term web developer with a lot of WordPress experience, I suggest checking out examples of sites I've built. It’s crucial to find a builder that suits your needs, so take a look at some of my SaaS sites, like Chronos and ThoughtLab. Wishing you the best in your search!

You might want to check out Jane App, which is popular among therapists. It provides invoicing, video meetings, and calendars while ensuring compliance with various medical privacy laws.

If Webflow is already too complex, consider skipping the elaborate builders and just go with WordPress on managed hosting. Combine a lightweight theme with a booking plugin like Amelia or Simply Schedule Appointments. Just make sure to check that any booking systems comply with HIPAA or privacy regulations to keep your practice safe.
